The disappearance of nine-year-old Jan Poulsen (Michel Hoppe) sends his parents, handball star Mikkel (Nicklas Kingo) and his wife Tamara (Laura Sophie Warachewicz), into a panic. Shortly afterwards, kidnappers make crazy demands: Mikkel is to honour the contract he has already signed with a major Parisian handball club and stay in Flensburg for the coming season. It is therefore obvious that the perpetrators are a couple of crazed fans. Svenja Rasmussen and Antoine "Tony" Haller investigate the fan scene with the help of club chairwoman Fiona (Romina Küper). But the hope of being able to hold Jan in their arms again soon is not realised for Mikkel and Tamara...
