Gretel's Trick
Gretel is 80 years old and lives alone. She lost her husband a few years ago. When her best friend Sophie, whom Gretel visited regularly, dies, she fears loneliness. At Sophie's funeral, Gretel strikes up a conversation with a young boy. This gives her an idea: she calls the boy's family, whom she saw for the first time at the funeral, and pretends to be a distant aunt. She skilfully insinuates herself into the family and takes part in their lives. This is not only good for her, but also for the family. Nevertheless, there is of course a constant danger that the false relationship will be discovered. (Text: arte)
